Coach Cooley is definitely a sports enthusiast, especially with basketball and baseball. The autumn always represents UGA football, and the wintertime viewing is for Indiana University basketball (when he has time!)
He loves the outdoors, especially the mountains. Coach Cooley worked (well, played is a better word…) in Yellowstone National Park for five summer seasons, so he developed a fondness for flyfishing, mountaineering, kayaking, mountain sunsets, and basically goofing off in the outdoors as much as humanly possible. He hopes to retire in western Montana and fish.
He also enjoys just hanging out with friends, playing ping-pong, and beating Kacey Martin and Rob Donaldson in pool. Coach Cooley hopes to stay in education, and ultimately become a varsity basketball coach.Coach Cooley's mother and father are both from Indiana, and both are deceased. His older brother, Chris, is the CFO of a law firm in Chicago, IL, and is married with four kids, of whom the oldest son will be Illinois Mr. Basketball in 2016.
Coach's favorite restaurant is Cabernet in Alpharetta. He highly recommends the 48 oz. marinated rock-salt ribeye. He loves Indiana University basketball, Indiana Pacers, Indianapolis Colts, & UGA football. He listens to mostly classic rock: The Allman Brothers, Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young to name a few.
His favorite color combos are red and black and black and blue.
